Yesterday was my boyfriend’s little brother’s graduation from elementary school. We took him out to a place in the city to celebrate and do some Pokémon hunting!
The ceremony was at 9 and lasted about 2 hours, then we came home to change clothes and charge our phones a bit more so we had enough battery to get us through all the Pokémon. Lunch was at Zzaam! A Korean “chipotle-style” restaurant in Carytown. We’d been there a bunch of times before and really like it. I got the (rice) noodle bowl without broth, chicken, carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, edamame, and extra ginger sauce. I didn’t realize til later that they didn’t offer to put a fried egg on it, which is the best part. Oh well!
We parked at a museum that we’ll definitely have to go back and visit soon- it looked really interesting. Then, we got on our PokémonGO apps and started walking. The entire canal was beautiful even though the weather wasn’t the greatest. Luckily, we didn’t get rained on and had the opportunity to take lots of pictures alongside the Richmond scenery.
Babe caught me taking a selfie LOL ^ Brown’s island is a park on the James River and we had an awesome time walking (for 4 hours) through the entire place! I think it’s safe to say we all caught plenty of Pokémon, but it was more fun just exploring together. We ran with a train and the conductor waved at us and blew the horn- so cool! Also stopped at the little historic monuments and whatnot to snap some photos.
We were all so tired after walking across the 5 or so bridges that were connecting the island and mainland. I think it was about 5 miles total? But idk it could’ve been more, definitely felt like it could’ve been. Check out the new pink NMDs ^ We saw so many geese with their babies and even a huge turtle! After, we drove to a Baskin Robins for some good ice cream and went home to NAP
Hope you enjoyed this little adventure and I look forward to sharing our next one! Let me know in the comments some cool places you’ve been or want to go? Always open for suggestions (:
This looks such a cute day!! Off topic but you’re super pretty and you’re eyebrows are so amazing. I’m very jealous haha! xx

Thank you so much! I used to hate them when I first started high school (7 years ago), but thin eyebrows never worked on my face! Luckily I learned to love the natural fullness of them and finally got them to the shape I like without having to do anything else but tweeze and trim them a bit every week (:
