Big c0ats & big dreams

I finally (use that word way too often on here) have a bunch of the photos from way back when edited and ready to go for posts, so I’m starting at the beginning and going in order now. These are all from the end of December- sometime after Christmas and before NYE

I was feeeeeeling myself this day, I’m gonna tell you right now! All I wanted to do was take selfies before we left cause I was certain I’d never get my hair and makeup to cooperate as well as they did that day ^ also had on my new Eggie top that I’d been dying to wear (:

Babe was looking fiiiiiine as well ^ shaved face and all with the slick turtleneck sweater on! More pics outside in our big coats- it was a very stylish day for us haha

A few car selfies and we were on our way- into town where I treated my man to a lovely lunch/dinner at Boathouse ^ he’s been doing an incredible job with his business lately, and I wanted to celebrate all his hard work & success in 2017 and toast to the new year of growth and prosperity ahead! He’s still rocking it and making me proud everyday (:

The mussels were great, but my main food was underwhelming to say the least, but I honestly think it was only because I was still feeling very sick to my stomach at that point- usually everything there is fabulous haha at least Justin liked what he ordered!

After our meal we stopped over in Nordstrom so I could get a pair of “nice” shoes to wear with my fancier outfits- all I owned at that point was sneakers or heels, nothing in between. Justin was gracious enough to pick up not one, but two pairs of lovely shoes for me! The first is a pair of dress shoes by Dansko that are super comfy and (from the way the store model pair looked) will wear very nicely over time. The second are a pair Mary Janes, which I’ve been looking for lately ^ these I absolutely adore because they have a slight chunky heel and they’re a suede material…

We got donuts from Sugar Shack & they had my favorite: strawberry frosted! So yummy and some for home too (:

Next stop was Stony Point Fashion Park to browse the shops ^ we went into H&M where I fell in love with the dressing room lighting and giant mirror! I also found my wonderful chunky, cable knit turtleneck sweater and my NYE green sparkly dress. Then we took a quick look in Saks Fifth Avenue because Justin wanted to try on a certain Burberry jacket they had. He looked so handsome in it, but it’s like $500 haha maybe someday. He put on some sunglasses that made him look like a spy too…

Also, we saw an adorable (but overpriced at nearly $100) Coach dinosaur change purse that I had to get a picture of ^ so cute!

That’s a wrap for this one. I’ll be posting my resolutions soon cause I’m managing to keep up with them pretty well even though we’re only halfway into the first month of the year- I’ll still give myself a pat on the back. I think we all deserve that (: see ya in the next one!

  1. These donuts look amazing, and I bet they taste amazing as well. And that dinousaur is so cute! No idea why it costs so much, though πŸ˜€
I’m always looking forward to your posts, they are so full of cute clothes, nice food, pretty, humans and many more 😊

    1. I honestly have so much pink in my closet that I have to remind myself when I’m shopping! The eyeliner- lots and LOTS of practice haha and sometimes redoing it a few times (: thanks so much for your comment

    1. Thank you! I was searching for something to wear the top with cause it’s cropped, then I remembered that skirt is small enough around my waist to wear up high πŸ‘πŸΌ win-win haha
