Happy Friday all! It’s almost the end of the month & that means it’s time for more new makeup to try. Here’s what I got in my bag:
The bag & the mix
Actually a different/artsy type of bag this month & a unique zipper pull too ^ that’s always nice to see! A good variety of items as well, although I won’t be showing a try-on at the end of this post as I’m going to my makeup trial tomorrow for my wedding makeup tomorrow & wanted to make sure I had the most blank slate possible/didn’t use anything new that could irritate my skin or cause any reactions that might sit badly under the makeup I get done then…
We did get the products to create a full look though: an eyeshadow duo, a mascara, a lip + cheek tint (along with some extra bits). I’ll totally have to try them out another time!
Benefit Cosmetics they’re real magnet mascara
From what I’ve read, this contains fibers meant to volumize your lashes from root to tip as you wiggle the wand through them ^ it’s definitely an intriguing concept that I’m for sure interested in trying, but as I said- I wanted a clean slate for my trial tomorrow & mascara is one of the toughest makeup products to fully remove IMO. Def cool tho!
Elegant Beauty eyeshadow duo in aerial & luna
Finally we got some colored shadows, Ipsy! I feel like everytime I receive a shadow in my bag, it’s just a generic shimmer of gold/nude/rose gold/etc. ^ but we got purples! Those are my colors for brown eyes, that’s like the only colors I actually use when I put color on my eyes, so I’m very pleased with this little palette. Can’t wait to try this!
F.A.R.A.H. pressed powder brush 620F
I know what it says this is for, but I’m trying to find better brushes for my highlighters ^ so I’m gonna attempt to use this for that purpose. Wish me luck… 😉
Mented Cosmetics balms away coconut lip treatment
So I can’t say I didn’t try anything out of my bag this month ^ cause it’s just a lip balm & there’s no mint in it (so I wasn’t worried about my skin getting irritated by it). I actually really like it! These tubes are super easy to use & it almost has this texture to it that melts away as it warms up on your lips that’s quite nice. It’s just what I needed ❤
Milk Makeup lip + cheek in werk
This is an interesting duel-use product I’ve never tried before that I’m excited to test ^ I’m not sure that I’ll actually use it on my cheeks as I’m not a fan of blush at all, but it looks like a gorgeous peachy lip color for sure! Perfect for spring & summer I think (:
P/Y/T Beauty day-to-night eyeshadow cool mini quad
This was actually a freebie they threw in my bag this month since I bought so many add-ons ^ I already had put them away with my other makeup & bathroom stuff, so I didn’t get them back out to take photos of lol but I’ll list them here if you’re curious
The Vintage Cosmetic Company make-up removing cloths in pink
Just simply add water & the washable/reusable cloths take off your makeup (without micellar water, etc.) like magic!
MOTD Cosmetics in a blush blending eye brush set
Set of 5 light pink brushes for applying eye makeup looks of all kinds, including a contour, shader, crease, sweep & detailer!
Tarte tarteist double take eyeliner in black
Double ended eyeliner for everyday looks. Use the liquid liner to draw on that sharp wing, then flip it around to tight line with the pencil liner & fill in your waterline 😉
That’s everything from Ipsy for March! I hope you enjoyed a look at what I got in my bag. Do you have an Ipsy subscription? Let me know in the comments & we can compare what we received in our bags this month. I love to chat with you guys! As always, thanks for reading & supporting my blog. Have a wonderful weekend xo
